Wash your hands thoroughly before touching your piercing.
Clean your piercing 2 times a day using a saline solution
Use a clean cotton pad or gauze to gently remove crusts.
use antiseptics as the same as saline solution. (maximum 10 days)
Rinse the piercing gently with warm water in the shower.
Avoid swimming in pools, hot tubs, lakes, or oceans at least for 3 weeks.
Keep hair, cosmetics, and clothing away from the piercing as much as possible.
Do not twist or remove the jewelry during healing.
Avoid unnecessary touching.
Use only high-quality materials (surgical steel, titanium, or niobium) for initial piercings.
Contact me or a doctor if you notice:
Excessive redness or swelling
Severe pain or throbbing
Pus or foul odor
Fever or feeling unwell
Earlobe: 6–8 weeks
Cartilage: 3–6 months
Nose: 2–4 months
Navel: 6–12 months
Lip / Labret: 6–8 weeks
Eyebrow: 6–8 weeks
(Healing times vary per person — follow care instructions throughout the full period.)
Sleep on the opposite side if possible to avoid pressure.
Avoid wearing tight clothing over the piercing.
Eat healthy and stay hydrated — it supports faster healing.
Do not use ointments unless specifically advised by your piercer.
Internal Care
Use an alcohol-free antibacterial mouthwash up to 3 times a day for a
maximum of 10 days.
Rinse gently for about 30 seconds, especially after meals.
You can also rinse with a saline solution or salt water (½ teaspoon of salt in a glass of warm water) if needed.
First Days Tips:
Expect some swelling during the first 3–5 days — this is normal.
Help reduce swelling by:
Drinking cold water
Using ice chips
Eating soft and cool foods
Avoid:
Alcohol
Smoking
Spicy or very hot foods
Kissing or oral contact during the first 7–10 days
Oral Hygiene
Brush your teeth gently after every meal using a soft toothbrush.
Avoid playing with the jewelry using your teeth or tongue.
Keep your oral hygiene very clean during the healing period.
Important
Do not use mouthwash more than 10 days, as excessive use can disturb the natural oral bacteria balance.
